As part of the VIVID SYDNEY celebration, many downtown ad agencies, architects and artists are asked to design street art for the month long celebration. I thought this was amazing, all made from rubber traffic cones and suspended from a bridge.
I have a new favorite restaurant. And it's not because they have their own pig on site named Kevin Bacon. Nor is it because they have chickens onsite for fresh eggs. It's because they make really amazing simple food. No tricks, just the best, freshest ingredients known to man. I could eat here every meal for months and never get tired of it. The Grounds should be a role model to all restauranteurs wondering how to make it today. And if you find better coffee anywhere in the world, let me know. They roast their own and have about 20 different ways they will brew and serve it to you.
Once a year the waterfront in Sydney is turned into a light and music show with lots of street art as well. Really cool as they do light shows on the Opera house, the customs house and various other buildings on Circular Quay. The visuals are amazing but the music is not near loud enough. Sure it has to do with people living in the area.
